About Me

 

I am a combination of the Tsonga and Pedi tribe. Born on the 12th of May 1992, My Pronouns are He/She/Them. My foundation is Christ, and I am natured by my late grandmother, born and bred in the township of Mamelodi. I am an only child, a firm believer of self-discipline, and a feminist. I am influenced by expressing oneself through creativity. My upbringing was spent delving in the arts, I danced, sang, recited poetry, and did drama. My favorite memory was when I portrayed the character of “Ntob’emnyama” at The State Theatre, whom I related to because of the tone of my skin. She was my first leading character thus I hold so much sentiment for that moment. I am art personified. I am mostly passionate about music, and I refer to it as the calling that I understand. I hold my late father dearly to my heart, and I feel connected to him through music. Being Unorthodox gives me Euphoria.

Confidence is embracing your authentic self amidst the chaos. Amidst the noise, listen for the voice of God. I'm here to unveil God's talent within me. To exist is inspiring, and I'm on a mission to improve the world. Open your throat chakra and speak life into your journey. I defied the notion that art won't pay the bills by studying something else, and guess what? It didn't pay the bills either. So, I choose to embrace what I love, for I am the artist of my destiny.
I believe in creating books and dedicating myself to continuous learning. I exercise caution in my actions and words. I hold deep admiration for individuals with noble intentions, and I cherish environments of abundance and serenity. I have unwavering belief in the words of the one who proclaimed, 'I am the light of the world; whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but in the radiance of life.' (John 8:12). My grandmother, mother, and mentors nurtured me—all remarkable women. I am made up of devotions, and these are some parts that make me whole.
